Telefonica o2 Germany will offer a prepaid version of the o2 Surf Stick for the first time from October 1st. The stick enables web access for prepaid customers via UMTS/HSDPA.

Shortly after Nokia announced closure of it’s Bochum factory and it fired a few thousand people in Bochum, german engineering company Siemens sends home some 2000 employees in Leipzig. Siemens Enterprise Communications fires some 7.000 people worldwide.

Nokia announces it will shut down it’s factory in Bochum, Germany, and move operations to Romania, where it’s new factory just began to work. Well, Romania is definatelly not China, but sources say Nokia hired only untrained people in Romania, for lowest wages possible. What quality can come out of that? Zero.  So expect what’s worse for Nokia phones…
