5.8 earthquake hits Los Angeles

CNN Breaking News: A magnitude 5.8 earthquake has rattled Los Angeles, California.
Update: preliminary analysis has shown no serious structural damage and no injury reports in Los Angeles.
The epicenter was 3 miles west-southwest of Chino Hills and 28 miles east-southeast of the Los Angeles Civic Center, which is in downtown Los Angeles, the USGS reports.

CNN International and Samsung Electronics have inked a deal to offer CNN’s new mobile application as pre-loaded software on the electronics manufacturer’s handsets, beginning in June.  The deal grants Samsung a six-month window of exclusivity, during which it will be the only device manufacturer to host the new Java-based service.
